Live Like a Royal at Corinthia London

Sometimes when you really love an experience, the second time around doesn't have the same sizzle as it did originally. But rarely on a return trip do you realize why you fell in love in the first place, and actually like it even more. That perfectly describes my experience at The Corinthia London. Most five star hotels excel at service and amenities, or at least most do, so to really stand out as a luxury hotel you need something more, and at the Corinthia it's the vibe. Without being stuffy and pretentious it's fashionable and chic.The room product is flawless, and if you're lucky enough to experience a penthouse it's exceptional. Some of the iconic penthouses come with a panoramic rooftop view of London from a terrace. It beats a twirl around the London eye because you feel like you're in the tasteful flat of a sophisticated local, perhaps even a Royal! But even in entry level rooms, where fears of broom closet size and handheld shower heads usually live, you will be pleasantly greeted by the spacious and ultra comfy rooms on the lower end of the spectrum. While I recommend you splurge on a suite, you won't be disappointed by entry level at all. You are a comfortable walking distance to Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the theater district, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, and on top of it all you are right on the Thames, and to make your stay even better, a delightful perk that they offer is a complimentary house car from Mayfair so that you can avoid the tourist crush in this ideal locale. I also haven't even mentioned the spa, which is the best in London. I know I sound like a commercial, but I can't help myself, I'm in love. This property is not only a standout in London, but across all of the great cities I've visited, and is one of the most all round A+ hotel experiences.
