Singapore Highlights

I could go on and on as the whole trip was amazing, but these are just a few of my favorite highlights!

Hotels

As for hotels in Singapore, we had a few diverse properties host our visit.Capella is perfect for those that want to get away from it all- very peaceful, quiet property Capella is on a separate island but yet just a short 15 minute drive into Singapore. The Fullerton is right in the middle of the city – walking distance to lots of shopping, restaurants, museums, etc.  Their sister property, The Fullerton Bay, is directly across from them and is the more modern and traditional of the two properties.

My favorite was Raffles. It has recently reopened in a fantastic location after extensive renovations and is simply stunning!  They hosted our small group for dinner in an open kitchen concept that was fun, casual and delicious all at the same time. After, we enjoyed a famous Singapore Sling at the bar after dinner as Raffles is where it originated.

Activities

The most exciting excursion in Singapore was the Vespa ride with a sidecar so you don’t even have to worry about navigating the busy streets yourself.  Your driver takes care of it and we covered so much in a short time!

Of course we visited the iconic Marina Bay Sands. You do have to pay a small fee to go up to the observation deck at the top, but it’s worth the price and sometimes the wait.We also visited Gardens by the Bay which are two domes that have flowers, wood carvings, sculptures out of flowers, all kinds of vegetation from around the world- how fascinating!

Cruise

We had the opportunity to tour the Seabourn Ovation while she was in port and discover it's stunning features. I would highly recommend this ship to those looking for a luxury cruise!
