Must Have Experiences In Ireland

Adare Manor

Before even arriving at Adare Manor I had heard how immaculate the property is; that not even a single blade of grass was out of place. The moment we drove through the iron rod gates, Adare Manor shined with all the luxury indulgences you would expect without tipping the grandiose scale. It’s a perfect balance giving guests an incredible experience while still feeling at home.

Guinness and Jameson Factory

It is easy to spend all day at the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin as there is so much to see and do.  One thing that is an absolute must is to order a STOUTie.  It is literally a picture perfect print featuring your selfie on the head of an iconic Guinness stout.

Falconry is a signature activity in Ireland and it did not disappoint.  At Dromoland we had the pleasure of meeting Alice, a Harris’ hawk.  It was thrilling to watch her in action soar on command from the designated treetop, swooping low to the ground without a sound, and land weightlessly on your glove.

Cliff Sighting

Although the Cliffs of Moher are undoubtedly a must see when visiting Ireland, they are also incredibly touristy with 1.4 million visitors a year.  If you want to avoid the crowds you might consider Kilkee Cliff Walk (an hour south) which are incredible but not as impressive.

Hayfield Manor

Known for their award winning afternoon tea in all of Cork resides Hayfield Manor. This location was a great mid-day break to relax and enjoy beautiful piano tones along with delicious tea and pastries!

While these are amazing must-see's, we experienced so many more activities and places on this Ireland trip with Virtuoso. Follow along for more insights on our advisor's travels that bring light to our itineraries specially planned for you!
