Hawaii by Jenna

By: Jenna Tornese

The highlight of my trip to Hawaii was watching the sunsets every night from the beach and relaxing poolside with a wine spritzer... As many say, it's the simple things in life! However, many of my other favorites in Hawaii are listed below!

Pictured Left to Right: Andaz Maui, Fairmont Kea Lani, Four Seasons Maui

Upon arrival at Andaz, the property welcomes you with beautiful ocean views right at check-in, getting you excited for the beach days to come. The neutral design filled our room with soothing tones and modern design that really made it feel like you were in Hawaii. My favorite part of the property? Their delicious authentic Hawaiian breakfast dishes at Ka’ana Kitchen complimented by fruity mimosas.

Looking for space? The size of the rooms at this "all-suite" property paired with a queen pullout for additional bedding, makes the Fairmont Kea Lani perfect for families with children. When not enjoying the swim up bar at the pool or the sun loungers on the beach, my expansive balcony with ocean views was the perfect place for catching some rays and reading a book.

The Four Seasons may be my favorite property in Wailea as it checks all the boxes. The updated and spacious rooms, the incredible ocean views, and the five star service make this a top choice if you're heading to Maui. Not only did I enjoy the complimentary cabanas located throughout the property as well as the wonderful beach chair set up and incredible sunset dining options on property - Ferraro's and Spago.

Snorkeling Molokini and Turtle Town

It was such an amazing experience to swim with turtles in Turtle Town! Maluakua is known for being one of the best, calm and beautiful snorkeling areas in all of Hawaii filled with Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles. We also visited Molokini Crater which is a must see on any Maui trip. You cannot visit this island without a day of exploring the beautiful underwater world in Hawaii.

Now don't get deceived by the lack of name, this is a must try when you're in Maui. Either take a drive one day or visit on your way to/from the airport, you will be so happy you did. They have about 10-12 different trucks all with different cuisine, clean and shaded seating areas, and plenty of parking. When I went, I tried the delicious Mo'Ono Acai Bowls and the infamous Like Poke? food trucks. You may have recognized Like Poke? from an episode of Diner's, Drive-Ins, and Dives! They did NOT disappoint for a delicious lunch.
