Susan's Travel Bio
| What is your travel vision? |
“Travel, in the younger sort, is a part of education, in the elder, a part of experience.” Frances Bacon
Everyone should have the opportunity to travel, to experience other cultures, meet other people. You are never too young or too old to travel.

| What's in your carry on? |
| Always a book, camera, sweater or wrap, and something to eat. |
 |
| What is your most memorable or most inspiring travel experience? |
| Traveling down the Amazon river. My youngest brother was in the Peace Corp during the 60’s and traveled through South America and rafted down the Amazon. You cannot tell the difference between the pictures he took 40 years ago and the pictures I took five years ago. Time has literally stood still for the people along the great river. |
 |
| What has been your best culinary experience/
memorable meal while traveling?
|
| We were having dinner in the main dining room at the Mandarin Oriental in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. During the evening the waiter kept bring us different dished to try – “compliments of the chef”. The matre d’ told us how happy he was to see us again. When we told him this was our first visit to Kuala Lumpur and to his hotel, the wonderful service came to a halt and nothing more from the chef. |

| What is the one destination/experience you still want to go/have? |
