Crystal Cruises has always been my favorite Cruise Line.
Everything about their ships has pleased me, especially the
friendliness and efficiency of their staff.

I did not realize, until a recent experience, how efficient and well trained the staff was.

I recently sailed on Crystal Symphony. We were in Bordeaux, France visiting
 a winery when I felt ill and collapsed. The Crystal staff rushed to my aid and immediately took
my wife and I back to the ship’s hospital. The ship’s doctor immediately ordered an ambulance
and sent me to a local hospital where I was taken to the ICU unit. My wife has dementia so the
doctor had his nurse accompany her to Bordeaux where she stayed with my wife a couple of
days and then saw to it that my wife had a nurse 24 hrs a day while I remained in hospital.

Apparently my blood pressure had dropped to a dangerous level. Thanks to Crystal efficiency
my pills were collected from my cabin and came with me to the hospital. The French Doctor
could then see I had a severe overdose of medication. He adjusted my
medication and I have been well since.

I thank Crystal for the efficient way everything was handled. Our personal belongings
from our cabin was sent with us, nothing missing .My Prescriptions were sent with
me to the hospital. The ship’s nurse stayed with my wife for 2 days and
Crystal’s Port Representative, took care of our passports and helped us in so many ways.

I always take out Travelex travel insurance when I travel and it was a blessing this time.

Crystal Cruises did a wonderful job and I cannot thank them enough.
